| Grant Proposal Writing Workshop |
A grant proposal is an important component of business planning and conceptualisation of projects. .
When writing a project proposal, the first thing to know is the format that is required. For example,
many donor agencies require the use of the logframe in project proposals. In this workshop, we will
look at how to write winning grant proposals to get financing for your project.
Writing winning proposals requires knowledge of the relevant techniques and practice. It is often said
that proposal writing is an art and not a science. Practice will enhance your ability to perfect this art
and therefore in this course we will apply the art of proposal writing to your particular need. Each
participant will draft a proposal in response to the workshop case study exercise.
At the end of this workshop, participants will understand how to write a competitive proposal geared
at obtaining grant financing.
