

| trade/customs expert. Ms. Johnston has 20 years experience in the customs arena. After graduating with a BA degree in French and Spanish, she commenced her career with British Customs where she directed operations involving narcotics trafficking, corruption amongst law enforcement officials, and complex fiscal frauds. She later transferred to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office where she managed organized crime initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean. In 1999 Ms. Johnston was appointed as Chief Customs Officer at the United Nations Office of the Iraq Programme where she supervised a large, multinational, team of Customs Experts and Authentication Inspectors until the termination of the programme in 2003. Ms. Johnston also currently serves as consultant liaison officer to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund on behalf of an international inspection agency managing customs modernization projects in developing nations. She is domiciled in the USA. |
