Carolyn Hayle is an Associate Consultant with DPM International and a Lecturer on sustainable
tourism. She has over 13 years experience in strategic planning and tourism management in Jamaica
and the Caribbean. Dr. Hayle was a part of the team that developed the Carrying Capacity Study for
Jamaica’s Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism Development. Dr. Hayle has executed numerous
consulting assignments throughout the Caribbean including the development of guidelines for
community tourism, market research agro-tourism and strategic plans. She also has done several
written works on tourism in Jamaica and the Caribbean. She is domiciled in Jamaica
